We are paneled with most commercial insurance companies in MD and Delaware as well as behavioral health Medicaid in MD. We also offer a self-pay option and will consider a sliding scale if necessary. Reach out and let’s discuss a way to get you connected.

Yes, If your needs go beyond individual therapy, I will help you explore treatment options that best fit your specific situation. I have a significant network of professionals at every level of care in both MD and DE already established and can coordinate treatment at every level of care.

Yes, Your privacy is protected by law, with a few exceptions involving safety requirements which I will review during your first appointment.

Next Chapter Counseling provides therapy for individuals 15 or older. If you are seeking services for a younger child, we’d be happy to help get you connected with a therapist that specializes in pediatric counseling.

No, Next Chapter provides psychotherapy and counseling services but does not prescribe medications. If medication may be beneficial as part of your treatment plan, we are happy to refer you to a psychiatrist or psychiatrist nurse practitioner. We have established working relationships with numerous providers in both Delaware and Maryland and can help connect you with a trusted provider for an evaluation.

Absolutely. Recovery is often strengthened through connection. We can help you with a variety of recovery resources in both MD and DE including recommendations of 12 step groups, sponsors, Celebrate Recovery, and other support that align with your recovery goals. Together we will identify the resources that best fit your recovery journey.

While we cannot provide legal advice or representation, we understand that legal issues can be connected to substance use. We can help you navigate the treatment related aspects of your situation, coordinate care when appropriate, communicate with your attorney, provide documentation (with consent), and treatment updates when appropriate.

Yes, Addiction and mental health affect the entire family, not just the individual. When appropriate, and with the clients consent, we offer family sessions to improve communication, strengthen relationships, provide education, and support recovery process. We also support family members who are seeking guidance on how to best support a loved one while maintaining healthy boundaries.
